Hey Hamish,

I arrived safe and sound in Cairns yesterday and have successfully paid the dive course this morning. Thank you again for organising that for me. I know you're very busy and appreciate this alot!

I still can't believe how lucky I was to find your place! When I left home I was looking for something new, I was looking for a peaceful place where living in harmony with nature is still possible, away from the big cities' hustle and bustle, a place where every day reminds you that life is wonderful. Mungumby Lodge seemed to promise all that.. but I was wrong - it was so much better!

I totally agree with you: you live in paradise.
My eyes couldn't get used to the nature's beauty at all. It's really a unique and extraordinary place on earth you live in. Thank you very much for showing me around and taking me to all these special places and events - every single experience will be happily remembered well. I will always be grateful for that.

For me it was a time of happiness, joy and peace.
It was so fun being a bush turkey and the popular rainforest princess at the same time. Where else would that be possible?! I liked the work a lot as well, not to forget taking care of lovely Maddie and Stoney. Whether in their company or not, every walk and run was a highlight.

Working for you was such a pleasure. It made me very happy that you appreciated my work so much. That was new to me and still makes me feel good.

I'm sorry for writing so much, it's just that I'm so thankful. Especially for your good advices, sharing your remarkable knowledge about the wildlife and politics with me even enabling me to learn all the new things. I feel like I can do everything now!

Thanks to Janice for giving me a lesson with Stoney and too Elliot as well for doing the walk up to the waterfall with me. They are both so nice!
I miss you all already.

That's it now and that all goes well!

Inken :)
